Enrolment

There is an enrolment policy in operation at Moriah. The following is a guideline of the procedures.
As we are a state Integrated school, we have a preference / non- preference status for enrolment.

PRE-ENROLMENT

Meeting with the Principal to;

1- Receive the prospectus and discuss the school.

2- Have an opportunity to ask questions.

3- Tour of the school and have an introduction to staff.

4- Have further material provided to increase understanding of the special character of Moriah as required.

5-Arrange times to visit and view the school during class time.

6- Discuss enrolling your child and the school’s enrolment policy including preference / non- preference criteria.

ENROLMENT

Meeting with the Principal to;

1- discuss the procedures for enrolment

2- complete paperwork

ESTABLISHING PREFERENCE

Moriah School’s Board of proprietors establish Preference status as part of enrolment. There is a form to fill in regarding this which outlines under which criteria you feel you could enrol as preference.

Preference Criteria

1- Jewish from the Orthodox community

2- Jewish from a Non-Orthodox community

3- Jewish genealogy

4- Children having attended a Jewish education facility

5- A education grounding in Jewish studies
